It's so weird writing here when I have not done a proper blog in what feels like a short eternity. Fingers crossed that I have done well in my exams since I have been revising since well before christmas. I think they took every ounce of me mental strength though...
I have had one interview for university, a second organised and waiting to hear from three places. Although in fairness, one of the places I've had to reject both interview dates so I am waiting to see if they make another date available, so really I'm just waiting for two universities. Hey, hopefully you'll see me in a local radiography department near you some time in the future... then again actually, if you're there you might be sick... let's hope we meet somewhere else.
Wow. Evanescence's new music video has just come onto Kerrang and I must say, that although I felt rather let down with their second album and have not had time to listen to their new stuff, I am feeling impressed. Maybe it's time to revive 'emo Jess'. Amy Lee is beautiful and her voice gives me the biggest spine shivers out of anyone, even more than Matt Tuck.
Sangam and I finally celebrated our two years (I know! TWO YEARS?! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!) and we walked around London as we normally do. We saw St Paul's cathedral and climbed the 311 steps up monument to get the fantastic panoramic view of dreams. Monument is one of the cheapest and probably best tourist attractions in London, as long as you have the ability to climb so many stairs. As someone who lives in London and does not believe they should have to pay £14.50 to enter a place considered to be 'God's home', Monument definitely tops the list. There is no way you can beat the views from up there. Even the shard is looking impressive!

Whilst at St Paul's we stood and listened to the 'Occupy London' people talking about what they believe in. It annoyed me that the equipment they were using was worth vast amounts of money, one man had an electronic notebook and another claimed that he was 'too old' to sleep on site. Surely if they were trying to make a point they would be boycotting anything which caused or showed economic equality and funded it. As for the man that was too old, if you truly believe in something, regardless of your age you would do whatever you could to support it.
As someone who agrees with protesting and standing up for what you believe in, I do believe that these people do need to go home. They're not attracting much attention from the media any more and from the number of people who were camping there drinking out of beer cans and smoking whatever they were smoking is really just giving the whole thing a really negative name.
So many 18ths lined up for February and even my own in March. I am so excited you would not believe it! After working so hard for so long I am really looking forward to letting my hair down. Of course only up until about April where then things will get a bit boring and revision-y again.
I do have photos... well not really to be honest because they have not been sent to me, so I'm going to throw some random photos in to break this huge chunk of text up... ahahhaaa ;']
